Lewis Bess Williams & Weese Changes Name to Williams Weese Pepple & Ferguson

New name reflects firm leadership and composition

Denver, Colorado (August 3, 2020) — The law firm Lewis Bess Williams & Weese has changed its name to Williams Weese Pepple & Ferguson, reflecting the law firm’s current makeup of lawyers. The firm’s mission remains the same – with a focus on close client relationships and applying our deep expertise to solve problems and deliver superior results.

Williams Weese Pepple & Ferguson was founded in Denver in the 1970s, and its name evolved over the last forty years along with its attorneys.  The firm’s new name includes two female shareholders for the first time in the firm’s history.

“Renaming the firm is an opportunity to sync our name with our outstanding lawyers and the future of the firm,” said Co-Managing Director Taylor Dix.

Williams Weese Pepple & Ferguson is a full-service, Denver-based law firm with nationally recognized practice groups in multiple areas: energy, natural resources, environment, oil and gas, federal lands, ski resorts, labor and employment, private wealth and estate planning, real estate, commercial and regulatory litigation, and corporate counseling and transactions.

“We changed our name, but we are not changing our dedication to our clients or our commitment to outstanding legal services,” emphasized Co-Managing Director Bronwyn Pepple. “Our clients have grown accustomed to a high level of service and we will continue to exceed their expectations.”

“We are a scrappy firm that hits above its size,” quipped name partner Charles Weese. “Our shareholders previously worked at large national law firms and came here to continue doing sophisticated work in a collegial and client-focused setting.”
