Lewis, Bess, Williams & Weese is pleased to announce that John H. Bernetich has joined the firm as an Associate. John brings broad experience representing clients in a wide range of complex commercial disputes, with a focus on energy, environmental, and public lands matters. He helps clients avoid litigation by advising on compliance with complex statutes and regulations, and represents them in litigation when necessary.
Before joining the firm, John was an associate at a boutique environmental law firm in Washington, DC and Denver, and a law clerk to Judge Peter W. Hall of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and Judge Richard Hoffman of the New Jersey Superior Court, Civil Division and Appellate Division.

John received a J.D., magna cum laude, and a Master of Environmental Law and Policy, cum laude, from Vermont Law School. He holds a B.A., magna cum laude, from Virginia Tech.
