Lewis, Bess, Williams & Weese, P.C. is pleased to announce that Taylor M. Dix has joined the Firm as a Director and Shareholder, effective January 27, 2015. Taylor is an estate planning and tax lawyer with broad experience representing families and individuals in designing tax-efficient, multi-generational estate plans, including succession plans for closely-held businesses, administering trusts and estates, and aiding clients during IRS engagements. Taylor also represents companies seeking advice on all aspects of federal and state income taxation, from formation and operations, to acquisitions and divestitures.

Taylor joins the Firm after practicing law in Denver as a Partner in the Tax and Probate Department of Sherman & Howard L.L.C. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law (JD, with Highest Distinction and Order of the Coif) and of Brigham Young University (BA, magna cum laude). Taylor is an active member of the Trusts & Estates Section of the Colorado Bar, chairing committees that have drafted recent legislation affecting the administration of trusts in Colorado.
